Situated in the original building, the refurbishment celebrates the old, whilst housing a modern interior that provides a modern twist on the past.

Our food style reflects the surrounds. Hugely influenced by the changing seasons and the abundance of impressive NZ produce on our doorstep, our menu, cocktail and wine list change frequently to accommodate this.

It is approachable yet contemporary. Our choices of ingredients include, line caught fish from Leigh, shellfish from The Chathams and wild game from the South Island. Detail is important to us, not just with food but with local artists and exclusively designed tableware. 

The perfect spot for a private function. Our Corinth Room, surrounded by floor to ceiling windows, seats 30 guests. The Upper dining area, in the original site built 1908, holds up to 80 guests, or up to 100 guests for the entire venue.

BISTRO opening hours

The Bistro is open 9am Tuesday thru to Sunday - Kitchen open until 3pm on weekdays and 3.30pm on weekends. We will be opening later during the summer. 

XMAS HOURS: The Bistro will be closed 25th & 26th December and 1st & 2nd January.

The Bistro is located on Michael Horton Drive, Cornwall Park. Access via the Greenlane Road entrance ONLY.

High Tea available 6 days a week.
